It would be most wise to remove your comment. Otherwise, me and my friends shall pay a visit to you and your family and attach electrodes to your b... Oh wait... I forgot, we don't do that anymore.
Mental note: must find new way to punish people.
That's true, but only one of the HDMI ports was removed for the final version of the system. Meaning there's still one HDMI port for every PS3 system manufactured. Now take a look at the picture. Take a *good* look at the picture. The black console on the right is a retail unit. Notice anything strange? Perhaps something... missing?
Hey... I never said that!
The features removed from that E3 2005 prototype were 2 ethernet ports, 2 USB ports and 1 HDMI port. Every single PS3 model ever released to retail has 1 HDMI port.
This is exactly the type of lies and misconceptions that gave the PS3 a bad reputation during the first year or so.
What the hell is going on here? Has hell frozen over? This is madness!
I always wondered which one CNET's staff hated the most: Blu-Ray or the PS3.
I guess now we now.
I'm not even going to bother reporting this one. I'm sure that by now we all look at these fanboy rants with a dismissive smile.
You're wasting your time. He's a MS fanboy... Facts are irrelevant.
@ Irish
You simply cannot compare GT's popularity and brand recognition to Forza's. Many manufacturers don't want their cars looking bad to such a large number of people that includes many potential buyers (many GT fans are now old enough to purchase a car). It only takes one manufacturer saying no and all the others will say "if our rivals don't get damage, then we don't get damage".
GT's fame actually works against the game on this one.
@ Omega4
America(NPD) =/= World
And VGchartz? No, seriously... VGchartz?! Lay off the crack dude.
That's very strange. In my country the 80gb PS3 is already selling for €299... bundled with inFamous!
Wait... I'm confused... Is this an actual "article" or just another delusional fanboy's trash blog? Because it sure smells like trash. Just from the writer's bio you can clearly tell he's a Xbox/Halo fanboy.
I envy you man, I really do. Not many people so far have been able to play both games and are in a position to tell us which one has the best physics and damage models. And you're right about GT5 not being able to upload videos to Forza.net. Oh well... I guess GT fans will have to settle for Youtube. /s
Both games look very promising and I'm sure they won't disappoint. Why can't we just be happy with that?
But I thought it was too little too late. That's what they said.

Sorry... I couldn't resist.
Trollish article, obviously written by a Microsoft fanboy in denial.
Careful with what you wish for Thanatos... A PSN friends list full of 360 fanatics might not be the most desirable thing in the world.
@ Commodore 64:
Your OPINION isn't FACT. But here's some "facts" of my own for ya: with 1 year head start and at half the price, the Xbox 360 should now have twice the PS3's install base. But it doesn't. In fact, the 360's lead right now is comparable to what it was when the PS3 was first released. It was even outsold by the more expensive PS3 for a while, forcing Microsoft to drop the price. Now, with rumors of a PS3 price cut, there's a high chance the PS3 will once a...
I seriously doubt this one will stay exclusive. Remember when MGS: Rising was announced and people thought it was exclusive for the 360 for a while?
Suda's games are known for being hits among reviewers, not for being commercial hits. Releasing on only one of the HD platforms is risky business.
I bet this was your reaction when Sony announced the slim.
